Ice Cream Punch Art

Every month I get a magazine called Stampin' Success since I am a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. They have fabulous ideas for us. This month there were some very cool punch art samples. My October Stamp Camp will be focused on these. I copied this one right out of the magazine. :)

Butterfly Thank You

A Friend of mine lost her mother recently and she asked me to make some thank you cards for some special people. I saw a card similar to this on a display board from convention. I changed the background, designer paper, ribbon and left off the flower behind the butterfly. :)

New Halloween stuff

I love Halloween. I also love the perks of being a Stampin' Up! demo. When I placed my pre order for the Holiday Mini catalog I got this cool new stamp set for just $5! It is the cutest thing. There are stamps for all sorts of things but I used the Halloween one for this card. The middle of the stamp can be punched out and then these neat little cups can be put in to hold candy or any other little thing you want to put in them. I think it is just too cute! Look for many more projects to be made with these fun new items.

Stamps: Sweet Centers

Ink: Black Craft

CS: Black, Perfect Plum, Cast a Spell DS, White

Leaves

The leaves on this card are made out of balsa wood. You can pick it up at Micheal's in long strips. I went to Home Depot first and they looked at me like I was nuts asking for such a whimpy kind of wood. :) Anyway, I cut out the leaves with my Big Shot. Then I inked them with Really Rust in the middle, Chocolate Chip to the edge and then a tiny bit of Tempting Turquoise on the tips. You have to be careful on the stems because they break off really easy. The background paper is from the Holiday Mini catalog that starts in September. A great perk of being a demo - I can order early!

Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, Tempting Turquoise
CS: Really Rust, Chocolate Chip, Autumn Meadows DS, Vanilla
Other: Ribbon, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Big Shot, Leaves Die

Serene Snowflakes

This is another new stamp set coming out in September in the Holiday Mini Catalog. I love snowflake (even though I hate winter) and snowman stamps so I have to buy them all. :) This little card is made by folding the white cardstock in half (like you would for a regular card) and then running it through the Big Shot with the Scallop Circle die. Just leave a couple of the scallops without paper over them and you will get a 'hinge' for your card. This photo is kind of dark, the card is much prettier in real life.
Stamps: Serene Snowflakes
Ink: Soft Suede
CS: White, Shimmer White, Soft Suede, Christmas Cocoa Designer
Other: Pretties Kit (half beads), Scallop Circle Die, Big Shot machine, Circle Scissors Cutter, White Organza Ribbon

Delightful Decorations

This is a new stamp set that will be in the Holiday Mini Catalog starting September 1st. There is a punch that goes along with it to perfectly punch out the decorations once they have been stamped. The red background is embossed with the new folder called Petals-a-Plenty. I dotted the little centers of the flowers with the new Shimmer Paint also in the mini. Lots of fun new stuff is coming out in that catalog!

Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes, Delightful Decorations
Ink: Real Red Craft, Glorious Green Craft, Summer Sun Craft, Black Classic
CS: Real Red, Shimmer White, Glorious Green
Other: Silver Elastic Cord, Simmer Paint Frost White, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Petals-a-Plenty Folder, Big Shot Machine, Ornament Punch

Birthday Butterfly

My daughter came up to me in a panic a few minutes ago. It is her friends birthday today and she just has to have a card to give her. I tried telling her she could come and make one with me but she wanted me to do it. So, I pushed aside my swap cards and whipped this one out quick for her. :) It's hard to see on the scan but the orange paper and the dots on the butterfly are all glittery.

Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes (SU!)
Ink: Black
CS: Bazzil, DCWV Animal Crackers
Other: Butterfly stencil (very old SU!), Word Window & Modern Label Punch (SU!), Lip gloss, gold cord

Here is another Our Craft Lounge card for their August sketch challenge. I used my new brad maker to do the custom paper brads. I picked it up at Archivers this weekend. It is very addictive!
I am showing a picture of the inside too...

Sandy Sunsets

I won this stamp set from the last OCL blog hop. I thought their August sketch challenge would be a good time to use it. I only had a few minutes tonight after the little one went to bed so this is a super quick easy card. Check out the challenge on the OCL message board if you want to play along.

Stamps: Sandy Sunsets (OCL)

Birthday fun

This new hostess set is so versatile! I have used it more than any other hostess set I have in the past. This was a great idea I got again off of Splitcoast (yes, I go there a lot!) :) This was a card made by Krista Tracy. Again I just changed the colors and the sentiment stamp. It was a really great layout.
Stamps: The More the Merrier, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Black

Farm Fever

I was asked to make a get well card for someone at work. He works with sheep a lot so it was suggested that the card have one on it. Well, I kept this retired Stampin' Up! set because it is just too cute and perfect for this card. I found this fabulous layout on Splitcoast made by Sherry Cheever. I just changed the colors and one of the background sets. You can't tell in the photo but the sheep has flocking on it to make her fuzzy.
Stamps: Farm Fever, Flannel Plaid, Crosshatch (all retired)
Ink: Black, Brilliant Blue
CS: Black, Brilliant Blue, White
Other: Ribbon, Fun Flock, Glue
