Regional Gifts

This is a gift for some of the people I am going to regionals with and for our swap hostess. I just took a peice of cardboard and covered it with designer paper and then decorated it with the Birds and Branches die for the Big Shot. The little bird is actually two (one of top of the other) with pop dots to make the wing stand out a bit. The branches were cut out twice, once with Close to Cocoa and once with Kiwi Kiss. I just cut off the leaves and glued them onto the branches.
The Kiwi ribbon hanger is held on with two Jumbo Eyelets.

Then I added a pack of post it notes to the bottom.

stamps: None

CS: Walk in the Park Designer, Baja Blue, Close to Cocoa, Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red

Ink: None

Other: Post it notes, Eyelet Punch, Kiwi Kiss striped ribbon, Birds and Branches die, Big Shot Machine, Jumbo Brads, Crop a Dile

Digi Stamps

I found this great new blog by Dustin Pike where he shares his images to be used as digi stamps. You just download the images, print them out and color them in. Super cute and easy. Of course since I love dragons I would find these totally fun. This little guy is printed on Neenah Solar White and colored in with Copics. The background paper is by Crate Paper. I have had it sitting in my stash for awhile now.

Stamps: A Good Egg (SU!), Dustin Pike Digi Stamp

Ink: Black

CS: So Saffron (SU!), Crate Paper, Neenah Solar White

Other: Ribbon, Oval Punch and Scallop Oval Punch (SU!)

Bloomin' Beautiful

Here is another card that I will swap at the regional convention in April. I stamped the flowers in Black craft ink and embossed with clear powder. Then I just colored it all in with an aqua painter and inks. The word Bloom is stamped with White Craft ink and embossed with white powder. The Vellum background is dry embossed with one of the new SU! templates and the Big Shot Machine.
Stamps: Bloomin' Beautiful
Ink: Black and White Craft, Eggplant Envy, Always Artichoke, Bravo Burgundy, Almost Amethyst
CS: Eggplant Envy, Confetti White, Always Artichoke, Vellum
Other: Embossing Template, Big Shot, Ribbon, Brads

Figured it out

I think I have figured out what was wrong with the last card. I fixed it up a bit by dry embossing the green panel and punching out the corners with the ticket corner punch. I like this version much better.
Please see the previous post for the recipe list.

More swap possiblities

I am still trying to decide what my swaps will be. I need some simple ones that I can make a bunch of but I also need two sets of ten that are wow swaps for one I signed up for at regionals. So here is one of the simpler ones that I am thinking of doing.

Stamps: Big Birthday Candle

Ink: Black

Swap card

I am starting to make swap cards for the upcoming Stampin' Up! regional in April. This is one that I think I will do. My scanner certainly dosn't do well with colors. I think I will have to start learning how to use my camera instead. Anyway, here is the card. What do you think? Good enough to swap?

Stamps: Branch Out

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke, Rose Red

CS: Always Artichoke, Kraft

Other: Always Artichoke Ribbon, Eyelet Border Punch, Cutter Kit

Another Guy card

This is a birthday card with the great new stamp set And Many Mower. I am also showing a picture of the inside. I used to leave my cards blank inside so people could write whatever they wanted but I have found that most wanted the inside pretty too so that's what I have been doing with them lately.
This new textured designer paper from Stampin' Up! is awesome. It is much heavier than the normal patterned paper and just slightly textured. All items by Stampin' Up! (except the white cardstock)
Oh and a Happy Saint Patricks Day!!
Stamps: And Many Mower
Ink: black, Chocolate Chip
CS: Always Artichoke, Chocolate Chip, To the Nines Designer, Nena Solar White

Paper Bliss Bunnies

These cute little bunnies are stickers from PaperBliss. I almost didn't want to open the pack and use them. I have decided this year that I have to stop hording all of my craft products and use the darn things! :) They don't do much good just sitting here in my craft room.

Stamps: A Good Egg (Stampin' Up!)

CS: Bazzil, retired SU designer paper

Ink: Black (Stampin' Up!)

Other: Ribbon (SU), Paper Bliss stickers.

I love it when a plan comes together....

Gee that title dates me. :) Remember a show back in the 80's called the A Team? The character played by George Peppard named Hannibel used to say that in just about every show. I watched it all the time. Anyway, this card actually turned out exactly how I planned it. That rarely happens for me. :)

Girly notebook

I thought I should start making up some little items for craft shows later this year. I always wait until the last minute and then have barely anything for my table. These little notebooks always sell well. The castle stamp is a cute new one from Imaginisce. They are only 99 cents. They have lots of cute ones and paper to match. You can't see it in the picture but I used a glitter pen on all the scroll work on the castle.

Stamps: Imaginisce

CS: Retired Stampin' Up! designer paper, Silver SU!, Neena Solar White

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black

Other: Copics, Flowers, Glitter Pen, Nestiblities
