Manly birthday

I know lots of us struggle to make cards that are suitable for men. This awesome new stamp set is just perfect. There is a buffalo, eagle and a wolf image (plus a quote). This is a card I came up with quick for birthdays but you could replace the saying with just about anything.

Aviary stamp set

This is such a cute new set from the catalog. I just had to add it to my first order. This little owl is my favorite but there are three other cute little birds as well. To make the bird cage I stamped the main part first then I put a post it note over the top and stamped the stand so I would only get a little part of it on the bottom. I added one of the new Rhinestones to the top of the cage. I think this might just be the make and take at my open house next weekend....:)

Textured Background

Happy 4th of July! I only have blue and white on this card but what the heck, I am going to post it anyway. :)

To get this look I stamped first onto white cardstock then ran the piece through my
Big Shot with the folder. I think it gives the card a very nice background.

A quick anniversary card

I am currently working on lots of quick and easy cards. This one is for anniversaries. You can't quite see it in the picture but the butterflies and spritzed with a mixture of alcohol and Shimmer Paint.

Simple birthday cards

I was asked to design some very simple kids birthday cards. I came up with five of them using the same layout and stamp set. Here are two of them. I will share the others later this week. This layout just uses up scrap paper.

New hostess sets for 2010-2011

As a demo I get to pre order from the new catalog. :) These two hostess sets were actually free for me. One was free if you ordered the new colors and the other I earned from Sale-a-Bration sales this year. There is nothing like free stamps! :)
