Father's Day Card

This is the card I made for my dad this year. The image is from the Diamonds CD that I got from Ebay. I printed it on White SU cardstock and then colored him in with Copics. I just love those markers! My dad's favorite color is purple so I made the tackle box purple so I could tie it into the base of the card.

Here is what the inside looks like:::::

That is one nasty looking fish!

Stamps: none

CS: White, Old Olive, Eggplant Envy

Ink: Eggplant Envy (for the saying)

Other: Copics, Corner punch, fibers

More Gina K Stamps!

Here are the owls again! :) They are just too fun. This is a sketch from splitcoast stampers. I stamped the owls first and colored them in then punched them out. It is much easier to center them if you stamp before you punch.

Stamps: Owl Always Love You
Paper: Bashful Blue, White, Old Olive, Designer
Ink: Black
Accessories: Prismacolor pencils, gamisol, blending stump, punch

Diamonds CD

This card is made with images from a great new CD that I bought on Ebay. The company used to make rubber stamps under the name of Diamond but now she just sells the images on CD's. You can print them out any size you want. It has been lots of fun to play with so far.

Click on the card to see a bigger image. I used Copic markers to color it all in. I have to say, these Copics are a lot of fun to use. This is really my first try with them. After making this card I had to run out and buy some more colors! :) The base is Creamy Caramel Cardstock then Close to Cocoa and the image is printed on white. The saying is matted on Pretty In Pink.

This isn't the best picture (click on it to see it larger) but....here is the tag that I demoed at the Rubber Stamp Expo in St. Paul last weekend. The new pigment inks are Juniper and Purple Twilight (two of my favorites). The Snow Cap white was awesome too. It was easy to stamp detailed images without getting globs of ink on the paper.

For this tag I stamped the poem first and emobossed with clear then stamped the new flower and embossed again. Then I sponged Juniper around the edges of the tag. I also did some on white and black glossy paper but I left those samples with David from Rubbernecker Stamps.

Here are the names of the stamps (copied from Sherry's blog click here to see her wonderful samples with these stamps) Unreleased Floral Silhouette and Rubbernecker Valentine Collection How Do I Love Thee SKU:246-13 from Rubbernecker Stamp Company
