Matchbox

This is a little Halloween Matchbox that I demoed for a new stamp group Friday night.  I always have lots of little leftover scraps of Designer Paper that I just can't bare to throw out.  I keep them to put around little Hersey's nuggets like this for a fast, cute way to decorate them.

I thought these would make a cute little back to school gift. They would also be a great alternative to giving out candy for Halloween. I found the instructions for the box on someones blog. I will look for it and post a link when I find it.

Test Tube smarties

These are some little test tube treats for Halloween. I found these tubes somewhere online last year after all the craze with the Martha Stewart ones. These are a little smaller so M & M's don't fit in them. Smarties do though!

Ink: Black, Glorious Green, Only Orange
CS: White, Black, Glorious Green, Only Orange
Other: test tubes, ribbon, Smarties, Circle punches, Scallop Circle Punch

Halloween treat bag

Here is a little treat bag idea that I have seen lots of samples of on the internet. The topper is made by cutting out two Top Note's with my Big Shot machine. Each Note has a little perforated line around it. I cut that off of the black and layered it onto some orange patterned paper. Then you just fold it in half over a cello bag of treats and either tape it or staple it down.

Ink: Black, White Craft
CS: retired Halloween DS, White, Black
Other: Top Note die, Big Shot machine, Circle punches, Ribbon, Cello Bag, candy

Frankie box

Isn't he just the cutest??? I got this wonderful pattern from a fellow demo's blog, Angie Juda. It is such a fun and easy little treat box to make. The only changes I made from Angie's directions are that I drew the mouth free hand and cut his hair by hand instead of using a die cut.

Ink: Old Olive

CS: Old Olive, Black, White

Other: Black marker, lots of punches

Two more swap cards

Here are two more swap cards from my uplines last meeting. The first one is by Becky Pressgrove. She did the polished stone technique on the background. So pretty. The second one is by Colleen Wilkowske. The gold paper is stamped and embossed with clear on the background. It is very hard to see in the picture but so pretty and shimmery! The images have a little bit of the new white shimmer paint on them. Very nice touch. You can see these cards in person at my next stamp camp on September 26th.

Swap cards

When we have a meeting at my uplines house she has us bring cards to swap with the rest of the group. I am going to share some of the cards that I received at the last meeting over the next two days. I hope you enjoy them. Just think, if you sign up to become a demonstrator in my group you can get cards just like these at the next meeting. :)

Both of these cards use the new Serene Snowflakes stamp set found in the Holiday Mini catalog. I'm not sure who made these since there is no name on the back so I can't give credit to them. I will try to do recipes for both as best as I can figure out.
